BurlingtonToday celebrates inaugural Community Builders Awards 🏆
Our celebration of changemakers has grown to include the Burlington community.
On March 27, we hosted the first annual Community Builders Awards honouring the extraordinary people making significant contributions to enhancing the Burlington community.
The awards encompass five categories (education, health care, legacy, sports & recreation and unsung hero), each acknowledging different facets of community involvement and achievement.
By highlighting these community builders, the BurlingtonToday Community Builders Awards aim to inspire others and foster a spirit of civic engagement and pride throughout Burlington.
Congratulations to our winners! You can read more about each of them in our feature articles on BurlingtonToday.

From the desk of our editor-in-chief ✍️
It’s time to hit the polls — again.
Fresh off covering a snap election campaign in Ontario, our journalists have turned their attention to the federal race. Our team of political experts at ParliamentToday and The Trillium are quarterbacking Village Media’s coverage, while our community editors and reporters — as usual — are on top of all the local angles leading up to Election Day on April 28.
Don’t forget to cast your ballot! Every vote counts.
Speaking of voting, this story from BarrieToday’s Kevin Lamb is an early candidate for craziest story of the year. “Wrong house, man!”
What's new in SPACES? 📱
